ABOUT RX FOR PREVENTION 

Rx for Prevention is intended for clinicians practicing in LA County. Rx for Prevention articles cover a broad array of topics, including chronic disease, injury and violence, substance use disorders, environmental health, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, and other communicable diseases. We seek to ensure that articles include clear steps to apply directly to your clinical practice and/or to support action at a community or policy level.

Rx for Prevention was on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is being relaunched as single articles released on an as needed basis. We welcome feedback on the content of the publication and any ideas on topics to cover in the future.
