Safe Pain Management Website

New website launched by DPH Substance Abuse Prevention and Control to raise awareness of the risks of misusing prescription opioids, offer tools to inform discussions with healthcare providers on safe pain management, and provide treatment resources for those dependent on or addicted to opioids.

Also outlines resources for caregivers, including providers, on safe pain management, signs of opioid misuse, safe disposal of prescription drugs, medication for addiction treatment (MAT), and overdose education resources.
